Carlos García
Carlos García Campillo is a small coffee producer located in Puebla. Coffee farming has been in his family since his grandparents, then his parents, and now he and his family continue to work in this industry. Carlos says he got started in the specialty coffee industry when he moved out of his parents' control. Unlike the generations before him, he sought a chain with fewer intermediaries. During his time in the specialty coffee industry, Carlos has participated in quality competitions, including the Cup of Excellence and the Yara Champion Program.

In 2017 and 2019, Carlos's coffee won the Cup of Excellence award. Also in 2017, he won the Yara Champion Program cup quality competition. Currently, Carlos has achieved his goals: selling his coffee in specialty bars in Mexico, exporting to Asia, and winning competitions that reflect the quality of his product. The varietals he grows on his farm are Typica, Bourbon, and Garnica. This summer of 2022, Carlos will venture into Geisha coffee production with a small farm. Coffee is the economic foundation of his family. His passion is specialty coffee, and his triumphs are recognition for the dedication and care he puts into his work and that of his family.
